Ground School - FSInn* (Preferred Pilot Client)

Short Description Programme Outline

As you are probably exited and eager to start flying, this is the first course that you will be doing as a new pilot.
Rather than teaching you about "Theory of flight" and "Internal Combustion Engines" we decided to replace the "Real World Ground School" with assisting you to configure your FSInn properly.
The ground school will also prepare you for your first online flight, together with your instructor, by looking at Circuit Radio Procedures and understanding a METAR.

FSInn is much more than just a simple piece of software to connect and display aircraft in a multi player environment. It is a complex piece of software and without thorough knowledge you are guaranteed to get lost and miss out on most of the functionality of FSInn.

Having a proper understanding of the Radio Procedures that you need to follow will make the first online flight much more enjoyable

We will use the Academy Voice Servers for training.

* Squawk Box Users
The reason why we opted for using FSInn as the preferred pilot client is because of it's functionality and not because we think that it is a better client than SB3.
If you want to use SB3 you are more than welcome to do so.
Only the FSInn Training is available at the minute, but we should have something similar available for SB3 in the future.
You can still register for the course and complete the METAR and Radio sections.
